Our Beliefs

Preface

Like many other Christian Ministries, we personally hold to a faith tradition that others may not hold. With that being said, we do hold to the fundamental, basic, and foundational Protestant Christian Doctrines. For example, we affirm the 5 Solas of the Protestant Reformation:

1.) Sola Scriptura - Scripture Alone

2.) Solus Christus - Christ Alone

3.) Sola Fide - Faith Alone

4.) Sola Gratia - Grace Alone

5.) Soli Deo Gloria - Glory to God Alone

Our specific denominational tradition has no bearing on what we preach, because we preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not a specific Christian denomination or tradition. In short, we are attempting to win souls to the kingdom of heaven, and not a specific church building or denomination.

Statement of beliefs

1.) The Bible as God\'s Inspired Word: We affirm the divine inspiration, infallibility, and authority of the Bible in all matters of faith and practice. We recognize the Bible as the complete and final revelation of God\'s will for humanity. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

2.) The Triune God: We believe in the one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We worship God as Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all things. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

3.) The Depravity of Humanity: We acknowledge the fallen nature of humanity due to sin, rendering all individuals in need of salvation. Our sinful state separates us from God\'s holiness and righteousness. (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1-3)

4.) Salvation by Grace through Faith: We affirm that salvation is a free gift of God, not earned by works, but received through faith in Jesus Christ. His sacrificial death and resurrection provide the only means for our reconciliation with God. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:8)
5.) The Person and Work of Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and imminent return. Jesus is the only way to eternal life and the ultimate source of hope for humanity. (John 3:16; Acts 4:12; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
6.) The Role of the Holy Spirit: We acknowledge the Holy Spirit as the empowerer and indweller of believers. The Spirit convicts, regenerates, and guides believers into all truth, equipping them for a life of faith and service. (John 16:7-14; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23)
7.) The Church as the Body of Christ: We affirm the universal Church as a community of believers, united in Christ. We emphasize the importance of local congregations, fellowship, worship, and the proclamation of the Gospel. (Ephesians 4:4-6; Hebrews 10:25; Matthew 28:19-20)
8.) The Sacraments of Baptism and Communion: We recognize water baptism as an outward symbol of inner transformation and identification with Christ\'s death and resurrection. We celebrate the Lord\'s Supper (Communion) as a remembrance of Christ\'s sacrifice and our ongoing fellowship with Him. (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
9.) The Second Coming of Christ: We eagerly anticipate the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ, at which time He will establish His kingdom in its fullness. His return brings judgment and eternal rewards for believers. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 22:20)
10.) Eternal Destiny: We affirm the bodily resurrection of all people—the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to eternal separation from God in Hell. The destiny of every individual is determined by their relationship with Jesus Christ. (John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15)
