Saved?

Romans 3:23 tells us that we are all sinners. We have all made bad decisions at one time or another. We have chosen our own way in spite of what we knew in our heart was God's will.

Romans 6:23 tell us that our sin cannot be brought into God's heaven. The Bible teaches that God is life and to be seperated from God, forever, is death. But God loves you and doesn't want to be seperated from you so He did something about it. We call it salvation and God offers it as a gift, paid for by the death of His Son Jesus.

Romans 10:9-10 tells us that if we willingly say Jesus is our boss, and believe that God has raised Jesus from the dead, then we will be saved. Saved from death, saved from seperation from God, saved from punishment for our sins.

Prayer is talking to God and listening for His direction in your heart. Take a moment to pray out loud or silently in your mind and heart:

"Jesus, I believe you died for me and rose from the dead. You have the right to tell me what to do. Please forgive me of my sins. I will try to do what you have said in the Bible and what you say in my heart."

With that simple prayer, you will have done what millions of other Christians have done all over the world. You have been saved. The Bible says you are now my brother or sister in Christ Jesus!  Welcome to the Family!
